Kayden Thomas began playing guitar at the age of 8. He has played as a professional musician in many bands, ensembles, and musical groups for fundraisers, town celebrations, bars, weddings, birthday parties, a funeral, other private events, original shows and a tour for The Real Doug Lane along with many other artists. He has been teaching private and group music lessons for the past 5 years to over 100 students. He has also been, and continues to be, the Music Director for Oxbow Academy for the past two years. He recently graduated from the Horne School of Music with a B.S. in Music, with an emphasis in Commercial Music, and a focus on Guitar Performance. He is fluent in the musical styles of rock, funk, country, jazz, metal, pop, folk on many instruments, and competent in the rest of the genres.

He has studied under the great minds of Rich Dixon (The Osmonds) from 2018-2020 and Jamie Glaser (Bryan Adams, Chick Corea, Jean Luc Ponty) from 2020-2022. He has taken masterclasses from Mike Clark, Kassa Overall, Chase Baird, and others. He performed with the Union Story Road project, a contemporary folk music and storytelling group focused on the stories of their ancestors.

He currently works as a contemporary music teacher, session musician, and performing musician throughout the intermountain West. Kayden enjoys passing on the knowledge he has been given by his teachers and those he has been influenced by to better the lives of the youth especially. He also is currently working on his debut album as a recording artist “Place That I Call Home”. In addition to music, he enjoys spending time with family and being in the outdoors.
