At Skyline Music Studio, most students learn their first REAL song in 2 weeks!
With our teaching method, the learning process is made simple and effortless by adding new things in one small step at a time and utilizing mimicry. This means that students rarely get frustrated AND make significant progress every week!
We use our students' favorite music to teach them fundamental concepts in music. This means that you don't have to drag them to their lesson every week- they WANT TO GO! Can you imagine?
We use a variety of information sources, including notation, ear training and tablature. When students are exposed to a wide variety of ways to learn, they are able to figure out how they learn best!
Aside from the musical benefits, learning an instrument helps people feel confident in themselves, is a healthy outlet for expressing emotion, and provides a great deal of joy and satisfaction for not only the student, but all who are blessed to hear them perform with a band of professional musicians at our Student Showcases!

Where are the Lessons?
We teach in the basement of Boothe Music (135 N Main St Spanish Fork UT)
I don't see your prices displayed, is that normal?
Yes, that's perfectly normal at this point. Rest assured, our prices are fairly average. We don't want price to be a barrier, and there are a few options available ranging from $30-190/month. At the trial lesson, we will guide you to the best option that best suits your needs and budget. Regardless of your needs, rest assured that we strive to give more in value than we receive in payment!
Do you accept homeschooling scholarships?
Yes we do! We are currently verified providers for Utah Fits All, LAU, Athenian Academy and Harmony, and are willing to work with just about any others!
From what age do you accept students?
No age requirements here! The only things we look for in students are a desire to learn and an ability to learn without disrupting others!
Is music theory covered?
Yes, music theory is covered. No, it's not boring. Quite the opposite. We teach PRACTICAL music theory, meaning that we ONLY learn the things that will be helpful to our students in their quest to learn their favorite music!
Do we need to buy an instrument at home to get started?
We definitely recommend it, and there are some incredibly affordable options at Boothe Music in Spanish Fork!
What if we miss class?
Since we have started using the 12 week course cycle, no one has made it to all 12 weeks! This is why we teach for 14 weeks and plan on you missing two. When you do miss, we have resources for each student to use in order to stay caught up, no make up lessons necessary!
Do classes take place during school holidays?
We take most of December off from teaching, but are available for lessons the rest of the time :)
